Definitely worth the hype. My husband picked up sandwiches for us from Millburn on Thursday and everything was delicious. He commented that it was surprisingly busy when he went around 4pm on a week day. They have a very large menu so it was hard to make a decision, but I landed on the Griller #8, which is grilled chicken on focaccia with soft mozzarella, tomato, basil, arugula, and pesto aioli. It was packed with flavor and a large enough sandwich that I saved half for the next day. They also had spicy pickle chips that hit the spot. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in the area!

HOLY MOLY. I wanted lunch. I wanted tuna. I wanted to add my own assortment of toppings. I wanted a wrap. I wanted it pressed/grilled. Enter a colleague's recommendation for Millburn Deli. It arrived 10 minutes ago and it's half-gone. SO good. My order? A tuna wrap with swiss, tomato, red onion, cucumber, pickles and spicy brown mustard. Truly delicious. SO big. And the veggies are so crisp.

I have been going to Millburn Deli for years and it still is my go to place for a lunch sandwich. I usually get the godfadda which is what I got in my most recent visit. It is incredibly delicious. Bacon and chicken are perfect together! Only slight complaint is the bread was too soft. Just a bit more of a crunch would have been better. The service is also pretty good. They make their sandwiches relatively quickly and the pick up process is very straightforward.

We stopped by Millburn Deli for a sandwich before hiking, and this was the perfect spot! We got The Perfect Ten, which had rare roast beef, sharp provolone, tomato, arugula, garlic mayo on an everything focaccia. We both loved the focaccia - so crunchy yet soft and oh so flavorful. Really enjoyed the ingredients in the sandwich as well. Some of the pieces of roast beef were a little chewy but besides that, loved everything else about it.

Have only been here three or four times but everything has been great every single time. Picked up a Jay Ray (pressed sando) and Turkey Club to go for lunch this afternoon and they didn't disappoint. Pictures speak for themselves. Service has always been fast and correct. Outdoor seating, the one time we ate there, was clean. This may be my new lunch spot in the SOMA area.

I was at an offsite meeting yesterday when the topic of what to order for lunch arose; someone suggested Millburn Deli. The room immediately swelled with approval from the locals! I had a steak salad that was really good, a house made iced tea which was excellent, and a peanut butter brownie I devoured. I was a bit envious of those who ordered sandwiches and raved about the bread. I would've liked a side of bread with the salad. I wasn't crazy about the macaroni salad, but I was in the minority. The reviews from the group were top notch, with the recommendation to visit the original location if you can; I definitely will when I'm back in the area!

My brother who recently moved into the area had been talking about this deli for months and I finally got to try it after helping him move. I can see how they are doing well. First, we did not eat them while they were fresh, probably at least 3 hours after the sandwiches were made. I must say they use quality and fresh ingredients. Everything tasted so fresh. The chicken cutlet was so tendered and not heavy. The roasted red pepper was so sweet. The wild bull was perfecto with the A-1 sauce. It's such a clever combination of ingredients to make great sandwiches. The sandwiches are in the pricier side but it's worth a few more bucks for the flavor and the quality ingredients. Apparently they are doing so well that there are other locations. I hope they continue to do well and serve delicious food
